• When the vehicle is driving on an uneven road and the wheels are subjected to bumps and generate upward impact forces, the air spring is compressed first. The gas in the airbag is squeezed, the pressure rises, and a part of the energy is absorbed and stored. At the same time, the damping adjustment device generates a damping force opposite to the compression direction, slowing down the compression speed of the air spring and avoiding excessive bumps of the vehicle body due to instantaneous impact forces.
• After the impact force disappears, the compressed air spring starts to rebound under the action of the internal gas pressure. At this time, the damping adjustment device plays a role again, generating a damping force opposite to the rebound direction, controlling the rebound speed of the air spring, preventing the vehicle body from oscillating back and forth, and enabling the vehicle to smoothly return to the normal driving state.

• The height control valve continuously monitors the height change of the vehicle through mechanical links or sensors connected to the vehicle frame and axle. When the vehicle height changes due to changes in load or road undulations, the height control valve will automatically control the inflow or outflow of gas to the air spring according to the set height value.
• For example, when the vehicle load increases and causes the vehicle body to sink, the height control valve opens, and compressed air enters the air spring from the air source through the air pipe, making the air spring elongate and the vehicle body rise back to the set height. Conversely, when the vehicle load decreases and the vehicle body rises, the height control valve will discharge part of the gas in the air spring to lower the vehicle body back to the set height.
