Working principle of shock absorber: When the vehicle is driving and encounters bumps or uneven road surfaces, the wheels move up and down, driving the piston rod of the shock absorber to extend and retract in the working cylinder. During the compression stroke, the piston rod is pressed into the cylinder, and the oil in the lower chamber of the piston is squeezed into the upper chamber through the compression valve. When the oil passes through the valve, resistance is generated, absorbing and consuming a part of the vibration energy, thereby slowing down the sinking speed of the vehicle body. During the extension stroke, the piston rod extends out of the cylinder, and the oil in the upper chamber flows back to the lower chamber through the extension valve, also generating resistance, suppressing the rebound speed of the vehicle body, making the vehicle's vibration decay rapidly and maintaining driving stability.
Working principle of air spring: The air spring uses the elasticity of compressed air to support the weight of the vehicle and absorb vibration. When the vehicle load increases, the air pressure inside the air spring rises, the airbag contracts, and the stiffness of the spring increases to support a greater weight. When the vehicle load decreases, the air pressure decreases, the airbag expands, and the stiffness of the spring decreases to maintain the smooth driving of the vehicle. The air spring can also automatically adjust the air pressure according to the road conditions and the vehicle driving state to provide better comfort and handling.
