Basic principle
The air suspension shock absorber mainly adjusts the air volume and pressure of the air shock absorber through an air pump, thereby changing the hardness and elastic coefficient of the air shock absorber. The Iveco rear axle air suspension can adjust the stroke and length of the air shock absorber by adjusting the amount of air pumped in, thereby realizing the raising or lowering of the chassis.
Structure Design
Shell Material: Usually made of high-strength metal materials such as high-quality steel or aluminum alloy to ensure that the shock absorber has sufficient strength and durability when withstanding various stresses during vehicle driving. At the same time, it reduces weight and improves the fuel economy of the vehicle.
Sealing System: Equipped with high-performance sealing elements to effectively prevent air leakage and ensure stable air pressure inside the shock absorber, thus ensuring the consistency and reliability of the shock absorption effect. Common sealing materials include special rubber and polyurethane, etc., which have good wear resistance, corrosion resistance and sealing performance.
Piston and Piston Rod: The piston moves in the air chamber inside the shock absorber and is connected to the vehicle's suspension system through the piston rod. The piston and piston rod are usually manufactured by precision machining processes, and the surface is specially treated to improve its surface hardness and smoothness, reduce friction and wear, and ensure smooth and stable movement of the piston in the air chamber, improving the response speed and comfort of the shock absorber.
